One of the artists I played is a Brazilian singer named Céu - featured above in the Youtube video doing a live version of her song, Rainha.
Rainha comes from Céu's debut album, the short, sweet and self-titled 'Céu,' which was released in the U.S. in 2007 through the Six Degrees music label. In 2009 she returned with 'Vagarosa,' though in between fans could also find her on the remixed version of her first release 'Céu Remixes,' and on the group project and album called 'Sonantes.' On January 1, 2010, after analyzing playslists from Venus Sings Radio/Voices of Women on WRIU, I added Céu to a VenusSings.com year-end review of the artists, songs, and albums I identified as the Mighty Fine in 09.
