On Saturday, June 12, 2010, Venus Sings and Friends present “A Sultry and Sweet Night” at State Ultra Lounge from 9 PM to 2 AM, 1 Throop Alley off of North Main Street in Providence. Live performances featuring world rhythms, jazz, neosoul, and spoken word poetry will be provided by some of the area’s most vibrant and gifted artists: Venus Sings, Michelle Cruz, Mike Rollins and other special guests.
