Tasty Thursdays at Acme Starts at New Time: 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 24

PROVIDENCE, RI - Join DJ Reza Wreckage (aka Venus Sings), Garry Crum (of www.EssentialLife.com), and the Rhode Island Young Professionals (RIYP) for networking and meeting friends on Thursday, June 24, when Tasty Thursdays starts at the NEW TIME of 7:00 PM. Entrepreneurs, nine-to-fivers, artists and promoters are encouraged to take advantage of the early time - by coming right after work or by holding a casual meeting in a lounge setting. Music provided by Reza Wreckage and special Poetry Performances by Christopher Johnson and Rudy Cabrera.

PLUS, meet members of RIYP and learn about the organization's upcoming MEMBERS' BBQ and, as always, meet various members of the Isis Storm artist collective - all for only three dollars!

More on the RIYP Member Picnic:
You are invited to RIYP's 1st Annual Members' Picnic/BBQ on Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 11:30AM-4:00PM. The event will be held at Colt State Park in Bristol, RI on sites 14, 15 & 16. We welcome all current and past RIYP members and their guests, affiliate sponsors, the ULRI Board of Directors and ULRI staff, other professional organizations, AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.

There will be grilled foods, refreshments, a relaxing environment, and planned activities such as volleyball and flag football. A suggested donation of $5 per attendee will be taken at the door for our chosen charity, RISE (Rhode Island Sponsoring Education).

All currently paid RIYP members will have their suggested donation paid on behalf of RIYP as a way to show appreciation for their membership.
